Lathe Machinist

• Operate the lathe machine, grinding machine, Milling machine, and cutting machine
• Preparation of raw materials, tools, and consumables required for production
• Handle spare parts and machining mill rolls
• Check tools and equipment before starting work
• Carry out maintenance on workshop machines regularly
• Report any machine issues to the supervisor
• Perform ad-hoc tasks if necessary from time to time

Job Requirements

• Candidate must at least pass SPM with credits in any subjects
• 2-4 years of experience in handling machine parts and spare parts
• Have a basic understanding of mechanical drawing
• Able to work in the heavy industry sector, high-pressure, and hazardous environments
• Candidate must be able to communicate in Mandarin to deal with Expatriates from China who handle the machine
• Willing to work on shift hours, weekends, and public holidays
• Possess own transport to work at Bukit Raja, Klang
