We are looking for a passionate educator who can inspire and nurture the next generation of engineers. The successful candidate should be resourceful, innovative, collaborative, and keen to harness emerging technologies, including Generative AI, to enhance teaching and learning.
In this role, you will plan and participate in student development activities that promote holistic growth and career readiness. You will also be involved in student mentoring, industry collaboration, outreach activities, school and institutional initiatives. The position includes opportunities to contribute to curriculum innovation, applied learning, digitalisation efforts, and academic administration.

[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, industry-relevant learning experiences for both pre-employment and continuing education learners.
- Inspire and support learners in their academic, personal and professional development through effective teaching and mentorship.
- Collaborate with industry partners to create authentic learning opportunities, including innovative projects, solutioning internships, industry visits and global programmes.
- Contribute to corporate and school initiatives, curriculum enhancement, and academic administration.
- Plan and participate in student development and outreach activities that promote engineering education and learner success.
[What we are looking for]
Requirements:-
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Candidates without prior teaching experience may apply.
- Relevant knowledge or experience in Computer Aided Design, Thermal Fluids, Smart Design, energy systems, sustainability, or the application of Generative AI in teaching and learning will be an added advantage.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Self-driven, independent and a team player.
- Proactive individual who enjoys interacting with both students and stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively, adaptively, and professionally in a dynamic academic environment.
- Passionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching and mentoring both young adults and adult learners.
Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
