Logistics & Customs Manager

Job Responsibilities

1. Establish import/export processes, trade terms, HS codes, countries of origin, licenses, customs documents, and record-retention mechanisms.
2. Manage the performance of freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, couriers, and overseas/local logistics service providers.
3. Support shipment arrangements, cost allocation, and risk transfer under Incoterms such as DAP, DDP, EXW, and FOB.
4. Monitor freight costs, duties, customs-clearance lead time, customs holds, documentation errors, and transportation damage.
5. Coordinate import/export plans with Sales/Delivery, Warehouse, Finance, customers, and suppliers.
6. Analyze changes in international tariffs and their impact on business and logistics costs.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; customs/trade-compliance certification is preferred.
2. 8+ years of experience in logistics, customs, or import/export, including at least 3 years of team or supplier management experience.
3. Experience in electronics manufacturing, ICT, servers, cross-border trade, and bonded/non-bonded operations is preferred.
4. Strong compliance awareness, cost awareness, exception handling, documentation discipline, and supplier-management capability.
5. Familiar with SAP/ERP/MRP and Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP; Power BI knowledge is preferred.
