Are you an experienced financial auditor ready to take your career further? Step into a role where your audit foundation becomes a launchpad for investigative work, fraud detection, and litigation support. As a Forensic Auditor, you’ll go beyond compliance “travelling to the past” uncovering the story behind the numbers, and playing a meaningful role in supporting high-stakes legal matters.
What You’ll Do:
- Leverage your audit experience to investigate financial irregularities and potential fraud
- Perform deep-dive analysis of financial statements, accounting records, and transactional data
- Conduct forensic reviews and targeted investigations across business functions
- Compile, organize, and analyze documentary evidence (financial records, contracts, correspondence, and digital data) to support investigations
- Reconstruct events and transaction flows to establish timelines and uncover how incidents transpired, and quantify financial impact & losses
- Prepare investigation/ expert reports and supporting document that are clear, objective and defensible in court
- Participate in case strategy discussions with lawyers and external advisors
- Collaborate with internal audit, risk, and legal teams on sensitive matters
What We’re Looking For:
- Background in external or internal financial audit
- Strong grasp of financial reporting, audit methodologies, and internal controls
- Robust analytical mindset with strong professional skepticism
- Ability to translate complex financial issues into clear narratives
- 3–4 years of relevant audit experience
- Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent); CFE is a plus
- Good report-writing skills, with the ability to present findings clearly, concisely and persuasively
- Experience in preparing expert reports and/or working with legal counsel in dispute resolution is a plus point.
