As we continue to strengthen our presence across Southeast Asia, we are looking for a Manager – Procurement Consulting to help deliver high-impact procurement engagements across the region.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on consulting leadership role for a procurement professional who can independently lead end-to-end procurement transformation and strategic sourcing engagements and work directly with senior client stakeholders.
You will work across GEP's SEA client portfolio, helping organizations improve procurement performance, unlock savings and build more effective procurement operating models.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end procurement consulting engagements across procurement strategy, category management, strategic sourcing, cost optimization and operating model transformation.
- Manage project workstreams from diagnostic and opportunity assessment through implementation and benefits realization.
- Develop category strategies, sourcing strategies, supplier segmentation, negotiation approaches and savings initiatives.
- Conduct spend analysis, market intelligence, benchmarking and opportunity assessments to identify value creation opportunities.
- Support procurement operating model, process and governance design.
- Lead client workshops, stakeholder interviews and working sessions with Procurement, Finance, Operations and business leaders.
- Build compelling client-ready analyses, recommendations and executive presentations.
- Manage project teams, timelines, deliverables and senior client expectations.
- Identify opportunities to expand GEP's relationship with existing clients and support new business pursuits across SEA.
- Work collaboratively with GEP's global consulting, technology and managed services teams to bring the right capabilities to clients.
What You Should Bring:
- 6–10 years of experience in procurement consulting, strategic sourcing, category management or procurement transformation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline; MBA/master’s degree or certifications such as CPSM/CPM are a plus.
- Strong experience delivering traditional end-to-end procurement consulting projects, preferably across multiple categories and industries.
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, spend analysis, category strategy, supplier management and cost reduction.
- Strong understanding of procurement operating models, processes, governance and performance management.
- Experience managing consulting workstreams and junior consultants.
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and support business development and account expansion opportunities.
- Experience working with clients in Southeast Asia is highly desirable.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel across SEA as required.
