MANAGER, FOUNDATION (SETIA FOUNDATION)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement and manage Setia Foundation's programmes, community outreach initiatives and charitable activities in line with the Foundation's objectives.
  • Drive strategic partnerships and engagement with beneficiaries, educational institutions, community leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure the Foundation's mission and social impact objectives are fulfilled through effective programme planning, execution and monitoring.
  • Monitor and track the utilisation of trust funds to ensure transparency, accountability and proper governance.
  • Ensure compliance with the Trust Deed, Akta Pemegang Amanah 1952 and all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Develop policies, procedures and governance frameworks to support the Foundation's operations and charitable activities.
  • Prepare reports, proposals, presentations and updates for the Management Committee, Board of Trustees and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the Foundation's annual budget, financial reporting, programme expenditure and resource allocation.
  • Measure and report programme effectiveness, outcomes and social impact.
  • Coordinate Foundation-related events, volunteer programmes and corporate responsibility initiatives.
  • Represent the Foundation in engagements with external stakeholders, government agencies, community organisations and beneficiaries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Corporate Communications, Public Policy, Business Administration, Law, Community Development, Non-Profit Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of working experience, preferably in foundation management, corporate responsibility (CSR), non-profit organisations, community development or stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in managing charitable programmes, grants, trust funds or community outreach initiatives will be an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of governance, regulatory compliance and fiduciary responsibilities relating to foundations or trust entities.
  • Strong project management, programme planning and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent report writing, presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and fund utilisation monitoring.
  • Ability to engage effectively with senior management, Board members, trustees, external partners and community stakeholders.
  • Proactive, resourceful and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High integrity with strong commitment to governance and ethical standards.
