The Manager in Group Clinical Education plays an integral role in shaping high-quality clinical education that supports our vision to train the professionals for tomorrow’s healthcare. This role is to ensure the proper governance, development and innovation of clinical education, uphold robust frameworks and systems, and drive initiatives that elevate the quality and impact of clinical education in NHG Health.

Governance, Policy and Strategic Planning

  • Lead in the formulation, review and implementation of policies, MOUs and training agreements with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with national/cluster/institutional wide standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the preparation of management and governance reporting for senior leadership, including tracking key priority areas and surfacing insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental workplans and strategies, translating department priorities into actionable education initiatives.

Faculty Management and Recognition

  • Manage faculty recognition initiatives and teaching awards.
  • Contribute to initiatives/projects to foster an engaged and thriving educator community.

Strategic Projects

You will participate in cluster-wide and cross-functional projects that advance NHG Health's vision and strategic objectives. Project assignments will be thoughtfully matched to your strengths, aspirations and developmental goals, giving you the opportunity to work collaboratively across clinical, academic and administrative teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(a) Education/Training/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of work experience.
  • Experience in education administration, clinical education or workplace learning is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; skills in IT systems, data management or data analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Effective interpersonal skills and confidence working with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Resourceful, meticulous and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
