Job description

Job Description: Marketing Manager / Assistant Manager

(Group Marketing Excellence)

Job Summary

As a Marketing Manager within Group Marketing Excellence, you will serve as the primary

strategic engine for the Business Unit, working in close partnership with the Marketing Lead to

translate overarching business goals into high-impact, integrated marketing programs.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned, independent professional who thrives in a transforming retail

landscape. You will be responsible for the "how" - turning strategic intent into effective execution

across all channels while navigating a complex organizational structure with agility and a growth

mindset.

  1. Strategic Implementation & Partnership

Lead's Direct Partner: Work in lockstep with the Marketing Lead to operationalize the

BU's marketing vision into always-on tactical and thematic roadmaps.

Business Translation: Interpret business KPIs and marketing goals to guide the team in

creating campaigns that are both creative and commercially viable.

  1. Seamless O2O (Online-to-Offline) Integration

Omni-channel Orchestration: Lead the amplification of digital campaigns into the

physical store environment to ensure a frictionless customer journey.

VM Collaboration: Work closely with the Visual Merchandising (VM) function to ensure

that digital messaging, social trends, and in-store POSM/displays are perfectly

synchronized.

Conversion Optimization: Monitor the effectiveness of O2O touchpoints, ensuring that

online traffic successfully translates into store visits and basket size growth.

  1. High-Level Stakeholder & Resource Navigation

Network Mastery: Navigate the organization's ecosystem independently to gain alignment

and clear roadblocks for the workstreams.

Agency & Vendor Management: Oversee strategic partnerships with creative and media

agencies, holding them accountable for high-quality output and brand governance.

Budget Stewardship: Manage the marketing budget with a focus on ROI, performing

rigorous analysis to ensure every dollar supports the BU's strategic priorities.

  1. Content & Digital Oversight

Brand Voice Governance: Supervise the Social Media and CRM functions to ensure all

customer-facing content is sophisticated, brand-aligned, and innovative.

Performance Reporting: Establish KPIs and translate data into executive-level insights

for the Marketing Lead.

  1. End-to-End Integrated Campaign Management

Full-Lifecycle Ownership: Lead the complete "Brief-to-Report" process for all major

marketing pulses. This includes translating business objectives into sharp creative briefs,

overseeing production, and ensuring a synchronized launch across all channels.

Media & Channel Strategy: Work with the media agency to optimize the channel mix

(Digital, OOH, Social, Print) to ensure the "Finest" message reaches the right audience at

the right time with maximum efficiency.

Post-Campaign Accountability: Own the post-mortem analysis. Beyond just reporting

"likes" or "clicks," you will evaluate campaign performance against actual sales lift and

brand health metrics, providing clear recommendations for future improvements.

Project Rigor & Contingency Planning: Demonstrate strong project management skills

by maintaining detailed campaign timelines and budgets. Anticipate potential bottlenecks

and implement "Plan B" strategies to ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements

Job Requirements

Experience: 6-8 years of experience in Marketing, with a proven track record of managing

integrated 360 campaigns in a fast-paced retail or FMCG environment.

Independent Operator: Ability to work with minimal "hand-holding," taking initiative to solve

problems and drive projects forward autonomously.

O2O Expertise: Demonstrated experience in bridging digital marketing with physical retail

activations and in-store communications.

Organizational Savvy: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

in an evolving corporate structure.

Core Competencies & Traits

Agile & Flexible: Highly adaptable to changing priorities; sees transformation as an

opportunity rather than a hurdle.

Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the "big picture" provided by the Lead and translate it into

granular, executable plans.

Growth Mindset: A tenacious problem-solver who is accountable and driven by results.

Effective Collaborator: A team player who can manage up to the Lead while effectively

guiding the junior and VM functions.
