MANAGER- LOGISTIC AND SUPPLY CHAIN

1. Import Operations & Logistics - Manage the entire supply chain from overseas suppliers to local terminals, including vessel chartering, tank logistics, or bulk tanker shipments.
2. Port & Customs Clearance - Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely clearance of bitumen shipments, minimizing port demurrage costs.
3. Inventory & Storage Management - Supervise terminal inventory levels (bulk tanks/drums), managing stock inflow/outflow, storage capacity, and reconciliation.
4. Quality Control & Compliance - Ensure all imported bitumen meets ASTM standards and that handling procedures comply with international and local environmental and safety regulations.
5. Vendor Management - Negotiate and manage relationships with shipping lines, port authorities, storage terminals, and transport service providers.
6. Operational Efficiency - Identify, develop, and implement new processes to reduce costs (demurrage, freight, storage) and increase supply chain speed.
7. Budgeting & Financial Reporting - Manage operational budgets, track shipment costs, approve vendor invoices, and analyze KPIs to improve profitability.
8. Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) - Oversee safety protocols for loading/unloading hot bitumen, ensuring 100% compliance with safety standards and minimizing environmental risks.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations within the petroleum or bitumen trading industry is added advantage
3. Strong understanding of transportation logistics, including fleet management, route optimization and driver management.
4. Strong understanding of importation process i.e. documentation,Customs clearance, technical control, port and terminal handling.
5. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
7. Has experiences in managing own drivers and third party's transporter.
