MISSION

The teacher's main mission is to provide students with knowledge, skills and attitudes in order to develop skills in the subject.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teach mathematics in middle school and high school
• Teach the speciality mathematics and/or numerical and computer sciences (NSI) and/or options (Expert Mathematics, Complementary Mathematics) in high School
• Design and implement learning or teaching situations based on French programs and standards
• Convey subject knowledge
• Design and implement assessment methods of student’s learnings, in liaison with other teachers or professional partners
• Ensure students acquire skills including capacities, attitudes and procedural knowledge
• Be an expert in the conduct of a class and foster the interest and participation of students and trainees
• Provide personalised follow-up of students in relation with families and participate in their orientation project
• Contribute to the school’s operation and to teamwork
• Adapt his/her teaching to the diversity of students by providing each of them with the necessary support, and measure their achievements
• Use information and communication technologies to support learnings
• Exercise of specific functions (coordination, form teacher etc.)

SKILLS,ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

• French Ministry of Education degree holder or equivalent
• Deep understanding of the subjects and the curriculum
• Experience in teaching in Middle and High school and namely on the final year is preferable
• Knowledge of the French curriculum
• Organisational and interpersonal skills
• Responsiveness and availability
• Adaptability and benevolence
• Very good writing and speaking skills
• Strong teamwork skills and committed to making projects successful
• Experience as a Form teacher and coordination for the students career orientation plan would be strong benefit
• Mastery of digital tools and/or experience as a digital referent appreciated
• Ability to adapt to French-speaking and non French-speaking students
• Ability to provide instructions suited to a wide variety of students
• Ability to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary way
• Proficiency in English (B1 level and above) is appreciated for supporting bilingual students and families

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Full time ( 18 hours of teaching/week) position - 1 V
• Remuneration will be based on company salary scale
• Starting date : End of August 2024
• Former IFS employees can only apply 3 years after they have left IFS *

MISSION

La mission principale du/de la professeur/e est de faire acquérir aux élèves des connaissances, savoir-faire et savoirs être afin de développer des compétences dans la discipline.

RESPONSABILITÉS

• Enseigner les mathématiques au collège et au lycée
• Enseigner la spécialité mathématique et/ou des options (Mathématiques Expertes, Mathématiques Complémentaires) au lycée
• Enseigner la NSI serait un atout supplémentaire
• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des situations d’apprentissage ou d’enseignement dans le cadre des programmes et référentiels français
• Transmettre des connaissances disciplinaires
• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des modalités d’évaluation des acquis des élèves, en liaison avec les autres enseignants ou les partenaires professionnels
• Faire acquérir des compétences incluant des capacités, des attitudes et des savoir-faire
• Maîtriser la conduite d'une classe et susciter l'intérêt et la participation des élèves et apprentis
• Assurer un suivi personnalisé des élèves en lien avec les familles et participer à leur projet d’orientation
• Contribuer au fonctionnement de l’établissement et au travail d’équipe
• Adapter son enseignement à la diversité des élèves en apportant à chacun l'appui nécessaire, et mesurer leurs acquis
• Utiliser des technologies de l'information et de la communication au service des apprentissages
• Exercice de fonctions spécifiques (coordination, professeur principal, etc)

COMPÉTENCES, EXPÉRIENCE ET FORMATION REQUISES

• Titulaire de l’Education Nationale ou profil équivalent
• Maîtrise de la matière, de la spécialité et de l’option enseignées
• Expérience dans l’enseignement au niveau secondaire (collège et lycée) et notamment sur un cycle de Terminale souhaitée
• Connaissance du système éducatif français
• Sens de l’organisation et du contact
• Réactivité et disponibilité
• Capacité d’adaptation et bienveillance
• Très bonne expression écrite et orale
• Forte capacité à travailler en équipe et à s’investir dans des projets
• Expérience en qualité de professeur principal, coordination et/ou chargé de l’orientation des élèves est appréciée
• Maîtrise des outils numériques et/ou expérience de référent numérique
• Capacité à s'adapter à des élèves non francophones
• Capacité à assurer un enseignement adapté à des élèves très divers
• Capacité à travailler de manière transversale et pluridisciplinaire
• Maîtrise de l’anglais (niveau B1 et plus) appréciée pour faciliter les échanges avec les familles

CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL

• Poste à temps plein (18 heures/semaine) - 1V
• La rémunération basée sur le diplôme, l'expérience et la grille de salaire de l’IFS
• Date de démarrage : fin août 2024
• Les anciens employés de l'IFS peuvent postuler 3 ans après avoir quitté l'IFS.*
