Job Description
- Assess the medical condition of patient.
- Assess the medical condition of patient.
- Liaise with all consultants, nursing and clinical staff
- Attend to all emergency cases in both A&E and wards
- Explain to patient the preliminary diagnosis prior referring to the consultants for admission
- Cooperate with Medical Officer Incharge to arrange roster
- To do locum if required
- Sharing knowledge with the nursing team
- Ensure to actively participate in all 5S activities
- Participate actively in any other new service that is introduced
- Ensure the policies on patients and family’s rights are addressed at all times.
- Ensure compliance to Patient safety goals as safety improvement measures recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008)
- To carried out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994:
- · To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons;
- To co-operate with your employer or any other person in the discharge o any duty;
- To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer; · To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health.
- Adopt the policies and procedures of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, Malaysian Hospital Accreditation Standards and Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards
- Perform any other duties assigned by the HOS
