About the Role

As a NetSuite Digital Consultant, you will play a critical role in bridging complex business challenges with scalable technical solutions. This is more than just a development role — you will act as a key contributor to Hytech’s digital transformation strategy by architecting, automating, and integrating our ERP ecosystem with global platforms including OA, CRM, WMS, and BI systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Customisation & Automation

• Design and deploy high-performance solutions using SuiteScript 2.0/2.1, including Client Scripts, User Event Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, and Suitelets.
• Build and optimise complex SuiteFlows, Saved Searches, and Financial Reports to streamline and automate operational processes.
• Customise NetSuite forms, records, and user interfaces to enhance user experience and maintain data integrity.

Seamless Ecosystem Integration

• Develop and manage integrations between NetSuite and external platforms such as Helios, OA, WMS, and other internal systems using RESTlets, SOAP APIs, or middleware tools.
• Ensure real-time, bi-directional data synchronisation across Finance and Operations platforms to maintain a reliable single source of truth.

System Optimisation & Technical Excellence

• Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimise governance usage and script efficiency.
• Act as the Tier 3 technical escalation lead for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex system issues.
• Support deployment activities including data migration, UAT coordination, go-live support, and post-implementation stabilisation.

Technical Governance & Documentation

• Maintain comprehensive Technical Design Documents (TDDs), process documentation, and system architecture references.
• Enforce development best practices including version control (Git), code review standards, and CI/CD deployment processes to ensure system quality and security.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Financial Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on NetSuite development experience with proven delivery of end-to-end customisation and integration projects.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteTalk Web Services, JavaScript, and relational databases.
• Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms such as Dell Boomi, Celigo, or MuleSoft is an advantage.
• Finance Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows such as Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
• Communication: Full professional proficiency in English; Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business and finance requirements into technical solutions effectively.
• Demonstrates the ability and mindset to leverage AI tools to improve work efficiency, productivity, and quality, while continuously exploring new ways to enhance business impact.
• Certifications such as NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer or NetSuite Administrator will be an added advantage.
