The Early Psychosis Intervention Programme (EPIP) was initiated in April 2001 under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, Singapore, and specialises in the early detection and management for individuals with early psychosis (12 - 40 years old) and those at high risk of developing psychosis (16 – 30 years old). EPIP offers comprehensive treatment to service users via an integrative recovery-oriented approach. EPIP's services are available across inpatient, outpatient and community settings

Job Responsibilities:

You will perform appropriate assessments to set rehabilitation goals and plan intervention programmes, as well as conduct individual and group-based interventions to improve functional ability for inpatients as well as outpatient. You will also be required to produce functional reports for discharge planning and work with a multidisciplinary team and multi-agencies to ensure continuity of care and community integration.

Requirements:

Competency

• Competent in using different therapeutic modalities in mental health group work – relevant work experience in mental health will be an advantage
• Competent in multi-agency collaboration
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good organisational and teamwork skills
• Able to work well independently

Educational and Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy which is registrable with the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore
