OFFICER- SAFETY & HEALTH (HIGH RISE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and implement the Company’s Occupational Safety and Health Management System to ensure it is in compliance with relevant statutory requirements.
• Ensure that the Company’s Occupational Safety and Health Management System is observed by the Company and relevant parties.
• Provide advice and guidance to support the effective operation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System.
• Coordinate and/or conduct regular inspection and accident / incident investigations.
• Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment, risk control measures and follow up on the job Safety Analysis.
• Acts as Secretary for the Site Occupational Safety and Health Committee Meeting.
• Liaise with relevant authorities on Occupational Safety and Health matters.
• Maintain proper documentation of relevant Occupational Safety and Health documents and data.
• Prepare and submit the Occupational Safety and Health Monthly Reports to the Head of Department and Person in charge.
• Carry out other job assignments as and when required by the immediate superior.

Requirements:

• Must possess at least Degree/ Diploma in Safety or equivalents.
• Possesses Safety and Health Officer Certificate Course from National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) or any other recognized institutions.
• Registered Safety and Health Officer with Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH). Green Book
• Minimum 5 years working experience in construction industry and familiar with Occupational Safety and Health Management System.
• Must be willing to work in Mont Kiara & Klang Valley area
