Payroll Officer/Executive

Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, including allowances, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, HRDF, and other relevant authorities
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll reports, statutory reports, and management reports
- Maintain accurate payroll records, employee data, and payroll documentation
- Handle payroll enquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Coordinate with Finance on payroll postings, reconciliations, and payments
- Manage payroll matters for new hires, resignations, transfers, and salary adjustments
- Support annual payroll activities such as EA forms, tax reporting, and audits
- Ensure payroll processes comply with company policies and employment legislation
- Participate in payroll system improvements and process enhancements
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of payroll processing experience (fresh graduates may be considered for Officer level)
- Good knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and statutory contributions
- Experience using payroll systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
