The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.
Your tasks
- Designing, realization and evaluation of AlInGaN based semiconductor chips
- Special focus on innovative approaches towards high performance/high current LEDs
- Development of novel or optimized process flows for chip manufacturing in strong cooperation with process development and manufacturing in global teams
- Solving complex problems in design and process in a sustainable and systematic way
- Deeply analyze and understand interactions between chip design and processes flow
Who we are looking for
- Degree/Masters/PhD in physics, optics, electrical engineering, material science or a related field
- Professional experience in semiconductor industry > 8 years
- Physical understanding of wafer fabrication processing techniques and tools
- Profound knowledge in the field of Nitride LEDs and device physics
- Broad experience in semiconductor frontend processes
- High level of problem-solving competence, analytical thinking and creativity
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Full professional English proficiency; intermediate German language skills preferred
