Centre of Excellence of Finance in Accounting & Reporting, Taxation and Governance and controls over financial reporting

Lead and drive governance and control initiatives for the group including any new system implementation, new process and new business ventures.
Work with Governance, Risk and Compliance team, Internal Auditors, and External Auditors to identify any governance and control gaps and execute any new requirements or recommendations.

Develop policies and guidelines to ensure compliance over governance and controls, accounting topics, business management, authorisation.
Maintain and review all policies and guidelines to ensure relevance.

Develop competency roadmap and upskilling in governance and control matters by working with Shared Services and External Auditors on any critical technical skill and knowledge gaps.
Develop effective training materials and content, including using different mediums for a wide range of stakeholders.
Organise regular group-wide seminars, workshops and training for Finance.
Develop communications, including channels, to disseminate information for Finance.

Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent
Minimum 10-12 years relevant experience with 5 years in external audit (preferably with previous big four work experience)
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written form, with both internal/external stakeholders
Demonstrate leadership and excellent project management skills in leading projects and initiatives that bring about changes
Experience in internal audit will be an advantage
Strong Powerpoint skills is a must and good ability to create a compelling presentation
Strong fundamental knowledge in Enterprise Risk Management or Governance Risk and Control
Experience with SAP ERP system and Segregation of Duty system/tool will be an advantage
