Product Development Junior Technician

Business summary

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Your tasks

• Assist R&D Process engineer run R&D engineering build.
• Able to setup and conversion for production machines. Exmaple: ASM/ Datacon machines (Die Bond / Wire Bond/ Sawing/ Spray coating).
• Work with Process engineer on process development activities.
• Provides cross-support across multiple process areas, and ensures timely delivery of engineering samples to meet project and business objectives.
• Support shift schedule changes and provide coverage based on business and production needs.

Who we are looking for

• Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in engineering / semiconductor line.
• Support/assist R&D activities such as samples build / Engineering EVA.
• Able to setup and do conversion to run R&D samples build.
• Basic technical knowledge in electronic / semiconductors.
