Product Solution Architect - Video & Edge Cloud

About the team The ByteDance Video and Edge Cloud team serves as the world's leading video platforms and edge distribution & acceleration products, offering enterprise users with worldwide media storage, transcoding, streaming and distribution services, with the innovation of AI in video and edge cloud field. In line with our commitment to excellence, we are in search of product solution architect to construct competitive product solutions for clients, expedite commercial expansion, and heighten the influence of products in the market as well as ultimately customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the architectural design and research and development of Live Streaming, Video-on-Demand, Real-Time Communications and CDN, edge security solutions, manage the full life cycle of overall video and edge cloud solutions.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of video and edge cloud projects, coordinating pipeline building and project delivery.
• Develop and implement operational strategies and processes that enhance commercialization processes and optimize resource utilization.
• Based on monitoring data and operational metrics, driving continuous improvement in service delivery and customer experience.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification(s):

• Proven years of experience in video and edge cloud services, including Live Streaming/Video-on-Demand/Real-Time Communications/CDN/Edge security e.g., with the understanding of AI impacts and evolving for relevant services.
• Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to articulate commercial and technical solutions to international clients.
• Proven experience in project management; able to manage user demands, implement cross-departmental coordination of complex projects, and coordinate internal and external resources to establish service processes.

Preferred Qualification(s):

• Strong familiarity with global market demands, especially with the AI evolve tendency.
• Deep understanding of the development trends of the video and edge cloud industry and technology.
• Self-motivated and optimistic, with a strong drive to collaborate with sales and product and development teams to facilitate customer conversion.
