Production Engineer, Feed Mill

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize feed milling processes including receiving, grinding, batching, mixing, pelleting and packing.
- Analyze production data and process parameters to improve throughput, yield, and overall plant efficiency.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement improvement initiatives to maximize production capacity and equipment utilization.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on process deviations, quality issues, product losses, and downtime occurrences.
- Develop, review, and maintain process operating parameters, SOPs, and best practices to ensure consistent production performance.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE, capacity utilization, yield, pellet quality, energy consumption, and production losses.
- Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing waste, improving efficiency, lowering manufacturing costs, and enhancing process reliability.
- Support commissioning, validation, and performance evaluation of new equipment, technologies, and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with feed safety, GMP, HACCP, customer and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, Process, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Agricultural Engineering.
- 1-3 years' experience in feed milling, grain processing, food manufacturing, or related process industries (preferred).
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
- Knowledge of OEE, Lean Manufacturing, RCA, HACCP, and GMP practices.
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and Microsoft Office applications.
