Production Supervisor

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production activities during the assigned shift.
- Ensure production targets, output, and deadlines are met.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance if issues arise.
- Minimize downtime and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Lead, assign, and monitor tasks for operators and line workers.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and manage shift schedules.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching.
- Handle basic HR issues like attendance, discipline, and performance feedback.
- Ensure products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to reduce defects and waste.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and audits.
- Enforce workplace safety rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct safety briefings and report incidents.
- Prepare shift reports (production output, downtime, issues, etc.).
- Maintain logs for inventory, materials usage, and equipment status.
- Communicate shift performance and issues to the next shift or management.
Job Requirement
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Technology, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing/production environment
- Prior supervisory or team-leading experience is strongly preferred
- Experience in FMCG or bottled water/beverage production is an advantage
- Able to work in shifts, including weekends or public holidays if required
