Production Supervisor – Metal Stamping / Injection Moulding / Assembly

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production operators to achieve daily output, quality, productivity, cycle time, and delivery targets.
• Plan and monitor daily production activities, manpower allocation, machine utilization and material flow to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor WIP and production progress and ensure production schedules are achieved according to customer requirements.
• Identify and resolve daily production, quality, machine and process issues by working closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Technical and Management teams.
• Conduct shift meetings and ensure proper handover of production status, issues and follow-up actions between shifts.
• Prepare and review daily production reports, monitor key performance indicators and escalate issues requiring further action.
• Drive 5S, continuous improvement, productivity improvement, waste reduction, and process optimization within the production area.
• Coach and develop operators through on-the-job training, while maintaining a safe, disciplined, and positive working environment.

Job Requirements

• SPM, Diploma, or equivalent professional qualification/experience in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in Metal Stamping, Injection Moulding, Assembly, Fabrication or related industries is preferred.
• Good knowledge of production processes, manpower planning, quality control, productivity and continuous improvement.
• Basic knowledge of ISO, 5S, safety, and production documentation.
• Able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Work on a rolling shift pattern in Senai, Johor.
