What You Will Actually Do
- Maintain integrated programme plans, delivery dashboards, milestones, and action trackers across multiple workstreams
- Coordinate governance forums, steering committees, and programme cadences while ensuring decisions and actions are tracked through to closure
- Monitor programme risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, escalating concerns and driving mitigation actions where necessary
- Partner with business, technology, operations, vendors, and external stakeholders to maintain delivery alignment and resolve bottlenecks
- Prepare management-ready status reports, progress updates, and delivery insights that help leaders make informed decisions
- Maintain programme repositories, governance documentation, decision logs, and other key programme artefacts to support effective execution
- Analyse delivery trends and identify areas that need attention, intervention, or reprioritisation
Examples of This Role in Practice
- Identifying a critical dependency between workstreams and coordinating stakeholders to prevent delays to programme milestones
- Preparing governance packs and status reporting for senior management discussions where key delivery decisions need to be made
- Facilitating programme reviews that bring clarity to open actions, risks, and unresolved issues
- Tracking delivery commitments across internal teams and external partners to ensure accountability and follow-through
- Proactively escalating emerging risks before they impact programme timelines or strategic outcomes
- Producing dashboards and delivery insights that help leadership understand progress, challenges, and intervention priorities
- Maintaining programme control during periods of high activity by ensuring information remains accurate, current, and decision-ready

- Experience supporting programme delivery, PMO functions, project coordination, or large-scale transformation initiatives
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Confidence engaging diverse stakeholders and following through on commitments in a structured and professional manner
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability, with the ability to identify patterns, risks, and areas requiring action
- Comfortable working in environments where priorities can evolve and delivery challenges require pragmatic solutions
- Ability to balance governance discipline with practical execution
Helpful (Not Mandatory)
- Experience supporting technology, fintech, payments, financial services, or industry-wide transformation programmes
- Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid programme delivery methodologies
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or similar programme management tools
- Familiarity with regulatory, governance, or multi-stakeholder delivery environments
- Experience supporting senior governance forums, steering committees, or executive reporting
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project or programme management certification
