Why This Role Matters

  • Open Finance initiatives involve multiple stakeholders, interconnected workstreams, evolving requirements, and significant delivery dependencies.
  • This role ensures programmes stay coordinated, visible, and under control by providing the structure, governance, and delivery discipline required to execute at scale.
  • You will be the person who keeps programme leaders informed, risks visible, actions progressing, and stakeholders aligned.

  • Risks and issues are surfaced early before they become delivery blockers
  • Leaders have timely, decision-ready information to act confidently
  • Governance forums are productive, focused, and supported by accurate reporting
  • Stakeholders remain aligned on commitments, priorities, and outcomes

What You Will Actually Do

  • Maintain integrated programme plans, delivery dashboards, milestones, and action trackers across multiple workstreams
  • Coordinate governance forums, steering committees, and programme cadences while ensuring decisions and actions are tracked through to closure
  • Monitor programme risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, escalating concerns and driving mitigation actions where necessary
  • Partner with business, technology, operations, vendors, and external stakeholders to maintain delivery alignment and resolve bottlenecks
  • Prepare management-ready status reports, progress updates, and delivery insights that help leaders make informed decisions
  • Maintain programme repositories, governance documentation, decision logs, and other key programme artefacts to support effective execution
  • Analyse delivery trends and identify areas that need attention, intervention, or reprioritisation

Examples of This Role in Practice

  • Identifying a critical dependency between workstreams and coordinating stakeholders to prevent delays to programme milestones
  • Preparing governance packs and status reporting for senior management discussions where key delivery decisions need to be made
  • Facilitating programme reviews that bring clarity to open actions, risks, and unresolved issues
  • Tracking delivery commitments across internal teams and external partners to ensure accountability and follow-through
  • Proactively escalating emerging risks before they impact programme timelines or strategic outcomes
  • Producing dashboards and delivery insights that help leadership understand progress, challenges, and intervention priorities
  • Maintaining programme control during periods of high activity by ensuring information remains accurate, current, and decision-ready

What Will Help You Succeed

  • Experience supporting programme delivery, PMO functions, project coordination, or large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Confidence engaging diverse stakeholders and following through on commitments in a structured and professional manner
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability, with the ability to identify patterns, risks, and areas requiring action
  • Comfortable working in environments where priorities can evolve and delivery challenges require pragmatic solutions
  • Ability to balance governance discipline with practical execution
