Customer Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality-related inquiries, concerns, and issues.
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their quality expectations, address inquiries, and provide timely updates on resolution progress.
- Responsible for handling and reply complaint and CAR from customers in timely manner.
- Assess product quality by conducting thorough inspections, tests, and validations to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
- Analyze testing data and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders, recommending improvements as needed.
- Utilize root cause analysis methodologies to investigate and identify the underlying causes of quality issues reported by customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective corrective and preventive actions, ensuring sustainable solutions.
- Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and improving overall customer satisfaction.
Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)
- Establish and maintain effective quality assurance processes for suppliers, including monitoring their performance through regular audits, inspections, and assessments.
- Develop and implement quality agreements with suppliers, outlining quality expectations, standards, and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the Procurement team to assess and qualify potential suppliers based on quality, capability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to assess their quality management systems, processes, and capabilities.
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement, provide guidance on quality best practices, and support their continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with suppliers to address quality concerns, implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), and drive root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with suppliers to implement risk reduction measures and contingency plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supplier quality, reducing defects, and optimizing supply chain efficiency.
Metrology Engineer (Calibration)
- Management, maintenance and troubleshooting of inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
- Evaluation and analyzation of calibration, verification and measurement data.
- Design inspections and testing method and create work instruction for Internal Verification.
- Maintain calibration laboratory and/or quality systems & data base ( Sytline ).
- Responsible for the effectiveness of manufacturing controls and inspection methods to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Directs engineering, quality, and laboratory personnel in design, manufacture, evaluation, and Calibration of measurement standards, instruments, and test systems to ensure selection of approved instrumentation.
- Develops calibration methods and techniques based on principles of measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems, and accuracy and precision requirements.
- Conduct Uncertainty & Linearity study for gauges after Verification.
- Liase with Sourcing Department/ External Laboratory for RFQ & External Calibration Arrangements.
- Communicate with Inter Department for Calibration Re-call notice & IMPTE.
- Prepared CER, Purchase Requisition, Gauge Disposition.
- Any other responsibility which may be assigned form time to time by Department Head.
Requirements:
- Minimum Advanced Diploma & above in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge QC 7 Tools / FMEA / DOE / 6 Sigma / SPC / 8D.
- Experienced in using MS-Office & Statistical Software (JMP, Minitab, Excel etc).
