RTR Stat Lead (Up to $10k) | Life Science

Join a leading global life sciences organisation as an RTR Statutory Reporting Lead, where you will own Singapore statutory reporting, audit, and compliance activities while partnering with regional and global finance stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical finance professional to drive reporting excellence, strengthen governance, and lead process transformation initiatives within a dynamic multinational environment.

Your new role

Statutory Reporting & Compliance

• Lead the preparation and review of Singapore statutory financial statements, including disclosures, supporting schedules, and regulatory filings.
• Own the reconciliation of US GAAP to local statutory books, ensuring accurate local GAAP adjustments and audit-ready documentation.
• Manage the statutory compliance calendar and ensure timely completion of all financial reporting, regulatory, and statutory obligations.

Audit & Governance

• Plan, coordinate, and manage external audits, acting as the primary liaison between auditors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with corporate governance requirements, driving timely remediation of identified gaps.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and local regulations, assessing business impact and implementing necessary updates.

Tax & Finance Partnership

• Partner closely with tax teams and external advisors on tax provisioning, tax return submissions, payment tracking, and ledger reconciliations.
• Serve as a trusted finance advisor, collaborating with affiliates, Shared Services, BPO partners, regional finance teams, and external stakeholders to resolve complex accounting matters.

Process Improvement & Transformation

• Drive standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across RTR and statutory reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials to ensure operational excellence and business continuity.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Strong experience in statutory reporting, financial reporting, audit, or RTR functions within a multinational environment.
• Sound knowledge of Singapore statutory reporting requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Experience working with Shared Services, BPO providers, and external auditors.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders and manage complex reporting timelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset.
