JOB PURPOSE
Develop, Plan, Strategize, Optimize and Execute resources including manpower, equipment, material, logistic and workshop facilities availability to support Project and Operation work execution.
Responsible for enhancing resource planning capabilities by implementing effective strategies, tools, and processes that reduce operational inefficiencies, prevent cost leakages and ensure timely delivery of projects.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement and optimize a centralized master schedule database by integrating and streamlining all project timelines to enable accurate forecasting of resource demands and proactive monitoring of upcoming project activities also uncover insight for Procurement to strategically award to suppliers or partners including staff employment particularly under SO (Service Order).
- Develop and monitor project progress reports and perform schedule risk analysis to assess schedule variance and evaluate performance against project timeline.
- Assess, consult and strategically align in-house supervisory resources with project assignments and look ahead plan to prevent overallocation, enhance fatigue management, and ensure optimal execution efficiency.
- Manage and enhance the utilization of transportation assets for logistics operations to drive greater operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness through optimized rental expenditures and fuel consumption.
- Strategize and consult rental of machineries or equipment to ensure align with project requirements and compliance with MRCSB standard Inspection regulation for safe operation inside plant.
- Manage and optimize workshop layout, tools and facility readiness to support fabrication activities in alignment with the project schedule, ensuring seamless workflow and operational efficiency.
- Develop, Design and implement a structured inventory management system specifically tailored for consumables and bulk materials to enhance material control, minimize excess stock and support efficient operational planning.
- Coordinate and manage resources to effectively execute tasks categorized under P1/P2 to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery in accordance with project timeline and performance expectations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- At least 10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas and or Onshore/Offshore Plant Turnaround (Petrochemical, Oleochemical and Power Plant), construction, or maintenance services.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience with Advance of Primavera P6
