As a Security Specialist: Exposure Management, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the organization's day-to-day operations, financial stability, and/or reputation. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of cyber-security principles and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Identify and Assess Risks: Conduct exposure assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation and remediation plans to address identified risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop Risk Mitigation Strategies: Analyze data to identify emerging risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to improve cyber-security posture.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the organization's security posture and respond to security incidents effectively.
- Implement Training Programs: Develop and implement training programs to educate technical peers on exposure management best practices.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure the organization's security posture remains effective.
- Cyber-Security Principles Understanding: Exposure to cyber-security principles and concepts, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Risk Assessment and Analysis: Experience working with data analysis to identify emerging risks and opportunities, and developing strategies to improve cyber-security posture.
- Exposure Management Tools: Exposure to vulnerability scanning and management tools such as Tenable, Qualys, Nexpose Rapid 7, Ivanti Neurons, and Cisco Kenna.
- Security Posture Enhancement: Experience working with cross-functional teams to enhance the organization's security posture and respond to security incidents effectively.
- Regulatory Requirements Knowledge: Familiarity with industry developments and regulatory requirements related to cyber-security and exposure management.
- Vulnerability Scanning Tools: Exposure to additional vulnerability scanning and management tools beyond Tenable, Qualys, Nexpose Rapid 7, Ivanti Neurons, and Cisco Kenna, is beneficial for this role.
- Advanced Threat Analysis: Experience working with advanced threat analysis and risk assessment methodologies can be an asset in identifying emerging risks and opportunities.
- Cloud Security Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud security principles and exposure management best practices can be advantageous in enhancing the organization's security posture.
