SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Your Role

Responsible for the financial and management accounting functions
Timely management reporting for month end closing
Preparation of yearly budget, revised budgets and cashflow
Liase with banks, external auditors and tax agents
Prepare annual financial reports in compliance with Finance Reporting Standards & XBRL submission
Prepare GST and Tax computation
Financial analysis; fluctuations in P&L and B/S
To monitor internal controls are in compliance with all corporate governance requirement
Constantly review, improve and implement streamlined work processes and internal controls
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
To manage accounts staff
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Candidate must possess a Degree in Accountancy or other equivalent professional qualification ie. CPA, ACCA
At least 5 years relevant working experience
Be analytical, independent, pro-active, resourceful, results-driven, a good team player and able to meet tight deadlines
Results-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Good team player with people-management capabilities
Prior experience in auditing firm will be an advantage for this position
