SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Your Role
- Responsible for the financial and management accounting functions
- Timely management reporting for month end closing
- Preparation of yearly budget, revised budgets and cashflow
- Liase with banks, external auditors and tax agents
- Prepare annual financial reports in compliance with Finance Reporting Standards & XBRL submission
- Prepare GST and Tax computation
- Financial analysis; fluctuations in P&L and B/S
- To monitor internal controls are in compliance with all corporate governance requirement
- Constantly review, improve and implement streamlined work processes and internal controls
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
- To manage accounts staff
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned
The Requirements
- Candidate must possess a Degree in Accountancy or other equivalent professional qualification ie. CPA, ACCA
- At least 5 years relevant working experience
- Be analytical, independent, pro-active, resourceful, results-driven, a good team player and able to meet tight deadlines
- Results-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Good team player with people-management capabilities
- Prior experience in auditing firm will be an advantage for this position
