Senior/ Application Technology Engineer

Job Summary:

Provide the technical interface for our customers. This needs a high level of internal and external communication, specification support, business development, and advocacy.

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide best in class technical support to the assigned Customers. This includes driving resolution of Customer technical issues, coordination with internal stakeholders to timely fulfil new Customer requirements and work on Customer data enquires.
• Establish a communication link and build the relationship with customers to understand their current and future technical requirements.
• Interpret new specification requirements from Customers and establish the optimal qualification and production route.
• Collaborate with global teams to develop strategies and QIP to fulfil customer needs.
• Represent Siltronic in Customer meetings including shaping external Customer presentations delivering the information, solutions effectively and following up to address Customer's needs and concerns.
• Communicate Siltronic improvement projects and process changes to Customer and coordinate for Customer qualification

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor or master degree in Science or Engineering.
• Proactive and strong customer focus
• Technical knowledge in material science and with Customer facing experience will be an added advantage.
• Effective and fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of database software, spreadsheet and statistical software, and project management techniques.
• Team player, organized, analytical, self-motivated, flexible, good interpersonal skills, and able to multi-task.
