Senior Engineer - Precasting & Launching (Bayan Baru, 07, MY, 11950)

Job Summary

Assist the design, analysis and implementation of civil and structural engineering projects in term of time, cost, quality and deliverance of project in safely manner under the guidance of senior Engineers, Assistant Managers and Construction Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the project design, analysis and evaluation of civil and structural engineering projects.
• Prepare and review engineering design, shop drawings, method statement, specification and technical reports.
• Ensure all projects comply with applicable codes, standards and regulations
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to design specification
• Identify and mitigate project risk and issues ensuring timely resolution
• Prepare and present technical proposal, reports and presentations.
• Assist in preparing reports or analysis for Construction Managers or Project Managers as and when required
• Stay updated with industry trend, technologies and best practices to apply innovative solutions in projects
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to approval process and ensure approval by the clients and authorities are obtained to enhance operational effectiveness.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to quality, safety, health and environment related to the job and work place as required by the company.
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field

Skills & Abilities

• Understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, including analysis, design and construction methods
• Ability to plan, execute and oversee projects from conception through completion
• Knowledge of local, national and international building codes and standards
• Experience with project budgeting, scheduling and contract management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, stakeholders, and team members
• Knowledge of project and construction operation, design principles and relevant software (e.g, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Ability to prioritize task effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadline consistently

Expected Minimum Years of Experience

• Preferably 2 to 5 years of experience in large scale civil and structural engineering projects.
