Job Summary
To support and contribute to the development of brand strategy for short and longer-term objectives, by leveraging on brand and product equities, and consumer insights (e.g., Brand Vision and Architecture, Product Positioning, Price Positioning etc).
To establish and maintain a strong and differentiated brand identity that resonates with the target market, creates customer loyalty, and drives business growth. It involves the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategies that shape the perception and reputation of the brand in the minds of consumers, employees, and other stakeholders.
Job Description
- Brand Corporate Identity (CI) Management & Governance
- To assist in preparing and executing the brand CI guideline.
- To conduct brand compliance audit and reporting in quarterly manner.
- To support in reviewing and providing guidance to related stakeholders (domestic & international) on their deliverables to ensure they comply to the guideline.
2.Internal and External Branding (Communication & Activation)
- To assist in preparing and executing tangible brand communication, activation and/or partnership to strengthen brand image and build brand equity for domestic and international markets.
- To collaborate and leverage on the strengths of internal and external stakeholders in building PROTON’s brand strategy.
3.Brand Strategic Planning Support (Short to Mid-long Term)
- Assist in strategic planning for overall brand roadmap for existing and/or new brand(s).
4.Trademark & Intellectual Property Right Management
- To liaise with Group Legal on corporate & product and/or service brand trademark for PROTON and other new brand(s) for domestic and international markets.
- To liaise with Group Finance on transfer pricing related to Intellectual Property Right and its licensing fee.
- Others
- To prepare monthly divisional reporting on project status.
- To handle administrative works related to procurement and finance matters e.g. CAPEX & OPEX.
- To assist in all brand executions (brand communication, event, sponsorship, corporate identity guideline and governance).
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, Branding, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in brand management, brand strategy, marketing communications, or a related field.
- Experience in brand communication, activation, events, sponsorships, partnerships, and campaign execution.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional, external, domestic, and international stakeholders.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate consumer and market insights into actionable brand strategies.
- Exposure to trademark/IP management, licensing, procurement, budgeting, and finance processes is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong command of English; Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is an advantage.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, commercially aware, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
