About You
CARSOME is on the hunt for a talented and experienced Senior Executive, Dealer Facilities. We need a self-motivated Person with strong communication and negotiation skills to prospect Used Car Dealers (UCD). Your duties will include achieving recruitment targets assigned by your team and drawing a clear path and strategy to achieve its sales target.
Your Day-to-Day
- Holistic Dealer Servicing & Account Management
Act as the Primary Strategic Partner: Serve as the dedicated single point of contact for a portfolio of assigned Used Car Dealers (UCDs), moving relationships from transactional to consultative.
Conduct Business Reviews: Regularly visit dealer lots to assess their inventory turnover, cash flow bottlenecks, and business goals, using these insights to tailor Carsome’s product pitches. Issue Resolution & Retention: Proactively address dealer pain points, troubleshoot platform or operational issues, and ensure high retention rates within your assigned portfolio.
- Multi-Product Sales & Revenue Generation
Drive Floor stock Financing Adoption: Pitch and secure applications for inventory financing. Guide dealers in utilizing both internal Carsome capital (APO) and external banking/financial partner facilities to maximize their purchasing power.
Scale Insurance Solutions: Actively sell digital insurance products, ensuring dealers integrate our motor insurance quotes, extended warranties, and vehicle protection plans into their daily retail sales.
Expand Ecosystem Products: Upsell complementary auto-related services that complete the Carsome wholesale loop, including digital listing packages, after-sales service center integrations, and future ecosystem rollouts.
Maximize Wallet Share: Continuously identify cross-selling opportunities to ensure every dealer is utilizing multiple DFT products, driving up the average revenue generated per account.
- Wholesale Ecosystem Integration & Execution
Seamless Onboarding: Handhold dealers through the onboarding processes for various platforms and products, ensuring a frictionless transition into the Carsome ecosystem.
Deal Facilitation & Compliance: Oversee the end-to-end application process for financial and insurance products. Assist dealers with documentation, liaise with internal credit/approval teams, and ensure strict adherence to compliance and data governance standards.
Performance Tracking: Monitor dealer utilization rates across all product lines. Maintain accurate pipeline data, sales forecasts, and daily activity logs to meet or exceed monthly multi-product revenue KPIs. Market Feedback Loop: Act as the "eyes and ears" on the ground. Gather market intelligence, competitor financing rates, and dealer feedback to help the management team refine future product offerings.
Your Know-How
- At least High Secondary, STPM, A-Level, Certificate, Diploma, Degree in any field.
- Minimum 1 year in sales experience and or have a good connection / relationship with the car
industry.
- Able and willing to remote out station when as required.
- Must have valid Driving License and own transportation
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Added Advantage If from Car Industry Background
- Preferring candidates fluent in Mandarin as a role requires candidates to deal with Mandarin
speaking clients.
- Possess negotiation and persuasive skills when encountering client complaints too.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to handle additional ad-hoc tasks
- required by the management. Hence, multitasking is one of the core abilities of the candidate.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- The core requirement for this role is a “go-getter” attitude where excuses will not be tolerated,
and responsibility is to be undertaken where the candidate will be in the driver’s seat with limited supervision
