We’re looking to Accountant/Senior Finance Executive in Kempas.

Responsible for accounting and finance activities within the company and business units to ensure financial reports are timely and accurate. Provide advisory support to the business units on financial issues.

As a Accountant/Senior Finance Executive, You will:

• Oversee the preparation of timely monthly financial and management reports
• Perform analysis on monthly financials of business units, including detailed costing & margin analysis on product line.
• Oversee AR, GL, Costing functions and any accounting scope as assigned by the Manager
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget and rolling forecasts
• Actively engage with the operation team to discuss and provide advice (where appropriate) on issue with Accounting impact
• Ensure effective financial control of operations by monitoring and overseeing the use of control systems, procedures and mechanisms
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, listing rules and other regulatory requirements;
• Maintain good effective relationships with external and internal auditor

What skills and experiences are we looking:

• SPM with years of experience or Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accounting or a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA) or equivalent
• Working experience in an international accounting firm and/or manufacturing environment is preferred
• Ability to grasp business logic, and apply to accounting and operational situations
• Knowledge in SAP or other ERP system is an added advantage
• Good team player, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact at all levels;
• Hands-on, meticulous and keen eye for details
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
