Senior Executive, Finance & Accounts

- Ensure timely and accurate monthly closing and yearly closing of accounts.
- Handle full set of accounts and oversee all financial reporting activities.
- Prepare financial analysis and consolidation reports to ensure timely delivery of accurate and reliable financial information.
- Ensure all financial and management reports prepared and submitted in accordance with management reporting timeline.
- In charge and manage the day – to day operations of the Finance Department.
- Prepare inter- company reconciliation, bank reconciliation and monthly schedule (including fixed assets registers, prepayment, accruals listing & other supporting schedules)
- Review existing workflows and processes, identify areas for improvement / implement enhancement to improve efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness.
- Supervise, guide and coach junior finance and accounts personnel in their respective job functions.
- Manage and monitor month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of statutory accounts, disclosure and co-ordination of overall process.
- Plan, execute and monitor cash flow management activities and timely payment arrangements.
- Liaise with external stakeholders (including auditor, tax agent, company secretary, bankers and others)
- Ensure that all management reporting and statutory reporting submissions are done on a timely and accurate basis.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as required from time to time.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or relevant field.
- Solid experience with Microsoft Office (intermediate or advanced MS Excel).
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
- Knowledge of legal and other requirements, and good environmental practices.
