Senior Executive, Landscaping

Job Summary:

The Senior Executive, Landscaping supports the Manager in overseeing the planning, coordination, and operational management of landscape and plant display maintenance across the resort. This role ensures all landscaped areas remain show-ready and aligned with Resorts World Sentosa’s service standards, safety requirements, and sustainability practices. The incumbent will take a leading role in supervising outsourced vendors, monitoring landscape quality, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure a high standard of presentation that enhances the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Landscape Operations Management

• Support the Manager in planning, scheduling, and overseeing landscape maintenance works across the resort.
• Supervise outsourced vendors to ensure all landscaping and plant display areas are maintained according to established standards.
• Monitor landscape conditions and implement corrective actions to maintain show-readiness.

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate closely with outsourced service providers to ensure works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across departments to support operational requirements related to landscaping works.
• Review vendor performance and escalate issues or improvement opportunities to management.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and environmental (WSH) requirements during landscape operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscape areas to ensure service standards, plant health, and aesthetic quality are maintained.
• Monitor irrigation systems and landscape infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality.

Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship

• Promote environmentally sustainable landscaping practices, including water management, plant care, and waste reduction.
• Support initiatives that enhance biodiversity and sustainability across the resort’s landscaped areas.

Operational Support & Continuous Improvement

• Identify potential landscape-related risks or safety hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Support the development and implementation of operational improvements to enhance efficiency and landscape presentation.
• Assist the Manager with reporting, documentation, and project coordination related to landscaping initiatives.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Botany, Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in landscape or horticulture maintenance, preferably within large-scale commercial or hospitality environments.
• Experience in supervising vendors or service providers is preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, plant display management, and landscape maintenance practices is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word and Excel).
