Senior Executive, Warehouse

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily Finished Goods Warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, staging, loading and dispatching of finished goods.
- Coordinate and supervise local and export container/truck loading, ensuring the correct products, quantities, lot/batch numbers, loading sequence, documentation and container condition are verified before loading.
- Coordinate and supervise import container unloading, including verification of incoming goods, quantities, packaging condition, documentation and proper storage of received goods.
- Ensure proper inventory control and accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliation, FEFO compliance and timely investigation of inventory variances.
- Plan and optimize warehouse activities to maximize space utilization, operational efficiency and product accessibility.
- Develop, implement and maintain warehouse procedures, work instructions and controls to improve operational effectiveness, inventory accuracy and compliance with company requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Logistics, Sales/Call Centre and other relevant departments to ensure timely order fulfilment and resolve issues relating to inventory availability, picking, loading and shipment delays.
- Coordinate delivery arrangements with the logistics team and transporters, including delivery scheduling, loading priorities, vehicle availability and shipment readiness to ensure timely customer deliveries.
- Manage and monitor third-party warehouse rental activities, including space utilization, stock allocation, warehouse coordination, rental arrangements and operational matters with warehouse service providers.
- Train, supervise and monitor warehouse personnel to ensure compliance with operational procedures, safety requirements, food safety standards and company policies.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, picking/loading efficiency, space utilization, order fulfillment, warehouse productivity and operational costs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper handling, storage and identification of finished goods, particularly under cold room and temperature-controlled storage conditions, to maintain product quality and integrity.
- Monitor and coordinate the operation of ASRS and other warehouse systems/equipment, including timely reporting and follow-up of operational issues.
- Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean, organized and safe condition, in compliance with applicable safety, food safety and housekeeping requirements.
- Coordinate and support internal, customer, certification and regulatory audits, including preparation of documents, records, corrective actions and follow-up of audit findings related to warehouse operations.
- Handle and follow up on customer or internal complaints related to warehouse operations, including quantity discrepancies, damaged goods, loading issues and delivery-related warehouse matters.
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for warehouse transactions, container loading/unloading, stock movements, deliveries, inventory adjustments and third-party warehouse activities.
- Identify operational risks and opportunities for improvement and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions to improve service level, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety requirements, occupational safety requirements and other applicable warehouse and logistics regulations.
- Perform any other relevant tasks or duties as assigned by the HOD.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or any related discipline.
- Proven experience in warehouse or logistics operations at supervisory level, preferably within FMCG, food manufacturing or cold-chain environments.
- Experience in Finished Goods Warehouse operations, export container loading, import container unloading and delivery coordination.
- Experience in managing ASRS, cold room/cold-chain logistics and third-party warehouse operations will be an added advantage.
- Experience in warehouse rental/3PL warehouse coordination, including space utilization and operational arrangement, will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of inventory management, FEFO, stock reconciliation, warehouse controls and warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and ability to manage warehouse transactions and inventory records accurately.
- Good understanding of container loading/unloading processes, warehouse safety, food safety and relevant operational requirements.
- Strong coordination, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal departments, transporters, warehouse service providers and customers.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lead, train and supervise warehouse personnel and drive compliance with established procedures and KPIs.
- Willing to be based in Pulau Indah, Selangor.
