Role Purpose

The Senior Manager, Global Retail Production & Roll-Out is responsible for leading the global retail production and rollout function, ensuring scalable, cost-effective, and high-quality execution of retail investments across all markets. This role serves as the global owner of rollout governance, vendor performance, cost optimization, and execution excellence. Acting as the key link between Global Retail, Procurement, Retail Design, and Markets, the role ensures retail assets and fixture investments are delivered consistently, efficiently, and in alignment with brand and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead Global Production & Roll-Out Strategy
  • Define and drive the global production and rollout strategy to support retail growth, store transformation, and investment priorities.
  • Establish global standards, frameworks, and governance processes that deliver consistency and scalability across markets.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and optimize retail production and rollout activities globally.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve speed, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
  1. Vendor Strategy, Performance & Cost Optimization
  • Own the global retail production and vendor strategy, ensuring an effective and scalable supplier ecosystem.
  • Drive global cost optimization initiatives through supplier consolidation, value engineering, standardization, and operational efficiencies.
  • Lead executive-level supplier relationships and performance reviews.
  • Partner with Procurement on global sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, and supplier selection.
  • Establish performance scorecards and benchmarks covering cost, quality, service, and delivery.
  1. Portfolio Governance & Market Enablement
  • Provide strategic oversight of the global rollout portfolio across all markets.
  • Ensure markets adopt approved standards, specifications, supplier frameworks, and implementation processes.
  • Challenge and guide market investment decisions to maximize return on investment and operational effectiveness.
  • Serve as the escalation point for major risks, delivery issues, and exceptions.
  • Enable markets through clear governance, planning frameworks, and operational guidance.
  1. Global Roll-Out Delivery Assurance
  • Oversee the end-to-end global rollout pipeline, ensuring visibility, prioritization, and execution readiness across all initiatives.
  • Monitor delivery performance, milestones, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
  • Drive timely intervention and corrective actions where projects or markets are at risk.
  • Ensure alignment between production, logistics, installation, and market implementation plans.
  • Deliver executive reporting on rollout progress, key risks, and performance metrics.
  1. Investment Management & Financial Stewardship
  • Lead governance of global rollout budgets, forecasts, and investment planning.
  • Ensure spending aligns with strategic priorities, store economics, and return-on-investment objectives.
  • Drive cost avoidance opportunities through standardization, modularization, reuse, and design simplification.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve investment efficiency.
  1. Retail Production & Fixture Excellence
  • Ensure global design concepts are translated into scalable, commercially viable, and operationally efficient fixture solutions.
  • Partner with Retail Design teams to balance brand ambition with production feasibility and cost effectiveness.
  • Govern fixture standards and lifecycle management to support long-term operational efficiency.
  • Drive innovation in materials, production methods, sustainability, and installation practices.

  • Achievement of global rollout milestones and delivery commitments.
  • Reduction in cost per store rollout and fixture production costs.
  • Improved supplier performance across quality, service, delivery, and cost metrics.
  • Increased compliance to global standards, governance, and approved vendor frameworks.

Preferred Experience

  • 10+ years of retail operations, store development, production, rollout, or project delivery experience.
  • Experience leading multi-country retail rollout programs.
  • Experience managing global supplier networks and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Experience working in a matrixed global organization.
