About the Role

We are looking for a Principal Java Engineers (Financial Markets Market Data) to design and develop systems supporting global financial markets platforms with high concurrency requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for distributed system architecture design, core system development, performance optimization, and technical planning while working closely with product and testing teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development of distributed architecture including multi-active disaster recovery and elastic scaling to support high-concurrency global platforms and ensure the architecture supports business growth for the next 1–3 years.
• Collaborate with product and testing teams to break down requirements, design system architecture, and develop core and critical system code for efficient and high-quality delivery.
• Analyze system bottlenecks and lead performance optimization across JVM, databases, middleware, and application code, resolving complex technical challenges and driving architecture evolution.
• Define and drive the mid- to long-term technical architecture strategy for the business line and establish the evolution roadmap for core systems.
• Establish and promote unified technical standards, architectural specifications, and best practices to improve development efficiency and system quality.
• Track emerging technologies such as Web3 and AI and promote the implementation of technical innovation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 5+ years of Java development experience, including 2+ years in large-scale distributed system architecture.
• Strong experience with Java multithreading, collections, JVM tuning, performance optimization, and complex issue troubleshooting.
• Familiar with Spring Boot microservices ecosystem, Dubbo, Kafka / RocketMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, Netty, and WebSocket, with practical usage and tuning experience.
• Extensive experience in microservices architecture and development of large-scale distributed high-concurrency systems.
• Familiar with system stability mechanisms including high availability, disaster recovery, rate limiting, and degradation strategies.
• Deep understanding of financial markets technology stacks, including matching engines, low-latency communication, and financial-grade consistency solutions.
• Strong understanding of distributed system principles, service governance, and CAP / BASE theory, with experience designing cross-region multi-active architectures.
• Experience designing and optimizing high-concurrency, high-availability systems exceeding 10k+ TPS/QPS.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a goal-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with core systems for securities or derivatives financial markets platforms supporting 10k+ TPS.

Good to Have

• Experience leading end-to-end architecture design of core systems in top-tier financial markets platforms.
• Experience working with order systems, matching engines, risk control systems, clearing systems, market data systems, and push/notification systems.
