As we expand our procurement consulting footprint across Southeast Asia, we are looking for a Senior Manager – Procurement Consulting to lead strategic client engagements and contribute to regional growth.

The Opportunity

This is a client leadership and market-building role for an experienced procurement consulting leader who can own complex engagements, advise C-suite and Procurement leadership, develop client relationships and help grow GEP's business across SEA.

You will lead high-impact procurement transformation programs while playing an active role in expanding GEP's existing client footprint and supporting new opportunities across Malaysia and the broader Southeast Asian market.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead complex, end-to-end procurement consulting

and transformation programs across strategy, sourcing, category management, cost optimization and procurement operating model transformation.

  • Own Small and mid-scale engagements from business

development and solution design through delivery, implementation and benefits realization.

  • Advise CPOs, CFOs and senior business stakeholders on

procurement strategy, value creation and transformation priorities.

  • Lead mid-scale spend diagnostics, opportunity

assessments, category strategies, sourcing programs and cost transformation initiatives.

  • Design procurement operating models, governance

structures, processes, performance frameworks and transformation roadmaps.

  • Lead executive workshops and influence senior

stakeholders through data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.

  • Build, coach and lead high-performing consulting

teams across multiple engagements.

  • Own project economics, quality, risk, timelines and

client satisfaction.

  • Identify whitespace within existing accounts and

develop cross-sell, upsell and account expansion opportunities.

  • Partner with GEP leadership on SEA market

development, including pipeline development, proposals, client presentations and strategic pursuits.

  • Build strong relationships with Procurement and

business leaders across Malaysia and the broader SEA market.

  • Collaborate with GEP's consulting, software and

managed services teams to create integrated client solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • 12–15+ years of experience in procurement

consulting, procurement transformation, strategic sourcing or category management.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business,

Engineering or a related discipline; MBA/master’s degree or certifications such as CPSM/CPM are a plus.

  • Strong track record leading end-to-end procurement

consulting engagements and delivering measurable savings/business outcomes.

  • Deep expertise across procurement strategy, sourcing,

category management, supplier management, cost optimization and operating model transformation.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead mid or large scale,

complex consulting programs and multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging CPO/CFO/C-suite

stakeholders.

  • Proven commercial acumen with experience in business

development, proposal leadership, account growth or client relationship management.

  • Strong understanding of the SEA procurement

landscape and ideally an established regional network.

  • Ability to translate procurement challenges into

compelling business cases and consulting solutions.

  • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation

skills.

  • Willingness to travel across SEA as required.
