SENIOR MANAGER-LEGAL DEBT RECOVERY

Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the Legal Recovery function and team.
• Overseeing legal recovery matters, including litigation coordination, recovery strategies, settlement negotiations and enforcement actions.
• Managing and monitoring panel lawyers to ensure timely progression of cases and achievement of recovery objectives.
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders on legal recovery and dispute resolution matters.
• Supporting management in strengthening the Company's legal recovery framework, governance and recovery outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and qualified as an advocate and solicitor with a valid and current practicing certificate.
• Minimum 12–15 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in litigation, debt recovery or regulated industries.
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of debt recovery processes and litigation procedures.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Proficiency in legal research tools, Microsoft Office, and data analytics is an advantage
