Working closely with Operations, the incumbent will drive financial analysis to identify business performance risks and opportunities, customer invoicing and collection requirements and lead key business initiatives to meet financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Site Overview:

GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang is a key part of our global maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) network, supporting the service of commercial aircraft engines, components, and accessories with world-class technical expertise. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, the site has continued to grow, including becoming GE Aerospace’s first LEAP MRO facility outside the U.S. We are also expanding our footprint in Malaysia with a new LEAP engine MRO facility in Sepang! Expected to open in late 2026, adding advanced capabilities, new technology, and opportunities to support the next generation of aviation maintenance.

Role Overview:

  • Lead overall FP&A and customer invoicing process for the GE Aerospace Malaysia overhaul shop, providing strong support to the Finance Manager and Business Leaders in achieving financial and operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead the Annual budgeting process/Operation Planning process and the monthly/quarterly forecasting process. Continuously improve the forecasting model to minimize variances between actual and estimates.
  • Provide analytics to highlight business performance drivers and develop processes to mitigate risks while capitalizing on opportunities, collaborate with various stakeholders to manage cost and meet financial metrics
  • Review P&L and engine profitability analysis during monthly closing process
  • Work with various departments to ensure robust processes in place for accurate, complete and timely of issuance of customer invoices
  • Work with customer support and sales team to drive collections and reduce past dues
  • Initiate simplification, lean and other improvements projects within finance as well as work with operations to streamline business processes.
  • Drive implementation of HQ driven initiatives
  • Provide coaching and continuously motivate the team to excel

Ideal Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate, strong financial analyst and business partnering who understands operation and translate operational performance into financial outcomes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or equivalent
  • 7 years of experience in leading teams and FP&A related work will be preferred

  • Strong accounting background and operationally inclined.
  • Energetic, attention to detail and commitment to meeting deliverables
  • A clear thinker with proven record to lead initiatives, solve problems and quick grasp of complex situation and new ideas.
  • Ability to adapt and deliver in a fast pace environment that is constantly changing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to lead cross functional team towards a common goal
  • Proven project management skills; ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities and support team environment
