- To review, to plan, to control and to monitor the finished goods movement for the smooth order fulfillment to market
- Production schedule base on forecast and sales movement
- Production output performance
- Packaging material ordering and scheduling at healthy stock level
- Final product at health stock level
- To minimize the pallet transfer process on finished goods by proper planning on order received with enough lead time
- Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
- To arrange monthly sales forecast meeting & SLOB (Slow moving and obsolete inventory) meeting
- Minimize obsolete stock and ensure business is left with minimum liability.
- Understand and manage risks to minimise impact on production schedule & to minimize planned downtime.
- Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
- Utilize any ERP or IT system that is in place and ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required.
- Consolidate needed data to create the demand plan such as historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, budget sales targets and inventory targeted levels.
- Based on sales demand, translate into final demand plans to be used in capacity planning, production planning and inventory planning.
- Monthly provide overall capacity plan to SCM for review purpose
- To implement cost control in energy and overtime concept during production planning
- To lead and continuous improvement on daily activities and training
- To coordinate and liaise with relevant department in production planning
- To ensure that procurement activities has been conducted according to documented procedure and sufficient procurement data are gathered before the purchase of goods.
- To liaise / negotiate with external providers on matters relating to pricing, delivery and terms and condition. Negotiation shall be conducted in an open and professional manner where no deception shall be allowed.
- To upkeep all procurement data which shall include but not limited to external provider information, purchase price, etc. All this information shall be treated as private and confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the consent from management of the company.
- To analyze current procurement activities and recommend improvement plan, also work with the operations team on cost-savings initiatives.
- To coordinate external provider evaluation activities, monitor the performance and implement improvement plan or develop potential external providers
- To be assigned with special tasks on an ad-hoc basis should there’s need arises.
