Senior Specialist, 5G Network Slicing

Job Summary

Manage and automate the end-to-end lifecycle of 5G network slicing to ensure reliable service delivery, platform performance, and SLA compliance through orchestration, system integration, and operational support.

The Day-to-Day Activities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of network slices, including planning, provisioning, monitoring, optimisation, and decommissioning.
• Coordinate network slice components across RAN, Core, and Transport domains to deliver seamless end-to-end services.
• Monitor service performance, ensure SLA compliance, and implement automated actions to resolve service issues.
• Design and maintain network slice templates that align customer requirements with network resources.
• Integrate network slicing and orchestration platforms to automate service provisioning and improve operational efficiency.
• Perform platform operations and maintenance, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, software testing, patching, upgrades, and change management to ensure platform stability.

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in 5G networks, network slicing, orchestration, automation, or related technologies.
• Experience with network slicing platforms, virtualisation, cloud-native technologies, and system integration.
• Good understanding of 5G architecture, network slicing, service management, APIs, automation tools, and RAN, Core, and Transport networks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills with the ability to work in high-availability environments.
