Job Summary:

The Senior Specialist, Performance Management will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing performance management frameworks and initiatives within RHB Bank Berhad. This role involves driving a high-performance culture, ensuring fair and effective performance evaluation processes, and contributing to the overall talent development strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve performance management policies, procedures, and tools in alignment with RHB Bank Berhad's strategic objectives and best practices.
  • Lead the annual performance cycle, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, and calibration sessions.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to HR Business Partners, line managers, and employees on all aspects of performance management.
  • Design and deliver training programs and workshops on performance management principles, tools, and effective feedback techniques.
  • Analyze performance data and trends to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance employee performance and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other HR functions (e.g., Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition) to integrate performance management with broader talent strategies.
  • Manage and administer performance management systems and platforms, ensuring data integrity and user-friendliness.
  • Research and recommend innovative performance management approaches and technologies to keep RHB Bank Berhad competitive.
  • Facilitate the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and cascading objectives across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations related to performance management.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in performance management, HR consulting, or a related HR specialization, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective performance management systems and processes.
  • Strong understanding of performance management methodologies, including goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and performance appraisal techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and performance management software.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations is advantageous.
