Senior Trade Finance Executive | Up to 6k

Our client is a well-established financial institution with a strong presence across Asia and international markets. As part of its continued growth, the organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Trade Finance Executive to join its Trade Operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned trade finance professional with strong operational expertise, risk awareness, and client servicing skills to work within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Your new role

• Manage end-to-end processing of trade finance transactions, including:
• Letters of Credit (Import & Export)
• Bank Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit
• Documentary Collections
• Trade Loans and Financing Facilities
• Review trade documents for compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Ensure transactions are processed accurately and within agreed service standards.
• Handle discrepancies, exceptions, and operational issues while mitigating operational risk.
• Liaise with relationship managers, customers, correspondent banks, and internal stakeholders on trade-related matters.
• Ensure adherence to UCP 600, ISBP, URDG, ICC rules, AML, sanctions, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audit, compliance, and risk management initiatives.
• Participate in process improvement projects and system enhancement initiatives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members where required.

What you'll need to succeed

You have a minimum 3–5 years of experience in trade finance operations, preferably in commodities or steel trading. Strong knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, Incoterms, and SWIFT messaging. You are meticulous, well-organized, and capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines. You hav excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams and external partners
