Set Designer, Production Resource

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand requirements from the Producer and assist in generating visual concepts, layout plans, construction drawings, elevations, details and perspectives
• Design using AutoCAD and 3D modelling software, eg. Cinema 4D or 3D Studio Max etc. to deliver aesthetically pleasing design with advice from seniors
• Manage the set projects from pre-production to production and strike
• Brief staging contractors and vendors on set-up with construction drawing & floor plan
• Coordinate all production requirements with suppliers and sponsors
• Direct the set design team, staging contractors and vendors on setting work

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma in Space & Interior Design, Environment & Architecture Design, Industrial Design or Fine Art
• 1 to 2 years of experience in set design for drama and entertainment productions will be an added advantage
• Proficient in English and Mandarin for business communication purpose
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is essential, preferably with knowledge in 3D modelling software (eg. Cinema 4D or 3D Studio Max)
• Good communication skills
