Geomatics Engineering is a discipline that focuses on the collection, processing, analysis, management, distribution, and presentation of geographic data into meaningful geo-information. This information gathered helps in managing the land, carrying out urban planning and executing infrastructure development. As a Geomatics scholar, you will translate real-world data into accurate digital information that supports data-driven decision-making within the public sector.   • Singapore citizen or Permanent Residents intending to take up Singapore Citizenship
  • Active participation in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) & Outstanding academic results
  • Possess Strong Leadership qualities
  • Interest to pursue a career in the Survey & Geomatics Industry

Scholarship Types

  • Full-Term Overseas Scholarship
  • Mid-Term Overseas Scholarship

Bond

  • 6 years (overseas study)

While Studying, You Will Receive

While in Service, You Will:

  • Build a specialist career as a geomatics engineer or registered surveyor
  • Gain exposure through local and overseas seminars and programmes in land administration, 3D-mapping and geomatics-related technologies
  • Promote the growth and development of geomatics and 3D-related techniques
  • Have opportunities to learn from the expertise of 4 public agencies (SLA, HDB, JTC & Nparks)

Application Journey:

Interested applicants should submit their applications during the annual application period from December to March. Applications undergo a holistic review covering academic achievements, co-curricular involvement, and overall suitability. Shortlisted candidates are subsequently invited to a series of assessments and interviews to evaluate their aptitude, motivation, and alignment with SLA’s mission.
