SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise web applications using the Laravel Framework and modern software development tools.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and efficient technical solutions.
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems through APIs, web services, webhooks, and database integrations.
• Design and implement AI-powered solutions, including GenAI-assisted applications, chatbots, workflow automation, and other digital initiatives to improve business productivity.
• Ensure application quality through testing, code reviews, performance optimisation, troubleshooting, and secure coding practices.
• Manage source code, CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, system enhancements, and production support.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, AI tools, frameworks, and Low-Code/No-Code platforms to improve development efficiency and innovation.
• Collaborate with business users, vendors, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver digital transformation projects within agreed timelines.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and system specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in software application development, including at least two (2) years of hands-on experience with the Laravel Framework.
• Experience in enterprise web application development, RESTful API integration, CI/CD, Git, SQL databases, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with GenAI-assisted coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI) and AI application development is preferred. Exposure to Low-Code/No-Code platforms and cloud technologies will be an added advantage.
