Summary
Provide leadership and direction for NPI program management team throughout the entire New Product Introduction lifecycle, from initial planning and engineering transfer through qualification, ramp-up, and mass production. Own end-to-end program execution, ensuring alignment across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams on scope, priorities, milestones, resources, and deliverables. Establish and drive program governance, including project plans, milestone tracking, progress reviews, risk management, issue escalation, and cross-functional action closure to ensure timely and successful execution. Lead new product transfer to mass production, ensuring product documents ready, process qualification, capacity, equipment, materials, and manufacturing readiness are aligned with business requirements, budget, quality, and schedule. Job Description
1) Critical Project -40%
Lead one of NPI critical project Yield, cost, delivery meet target. Drive FA, including fails from production, qual, DMR units from module returns, make rework yield improved. Coordinate R&D to make design optimization well qualified and executed smoothly for product Reliability improvement and cost down.
2)Coach Role -25%
Coach junior engineers, build up team with both technical capability and big vision able to show team strength, and with extended working scopes across CoC, OSA, SFA and testing through intensive failure analysis experiences.
3) Supervision, Management and Leadership -20%
Technically Supervise NPI projects execution. Ensure technical issue timely addressed and resolved. Direct team for goal setting, and supervise Projects running on-track and meet yield, HPU, cost target.

4) Human Resources/ Administrative -5%
All department information systems, records, reports and metrics are accurate and generated on time.
Company policy is followed regarding all safety, environmental and ergonomic requirements.
Company Technology Control Plan, IP protection and Export Compliance requirements are understood and properly followed.
A high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, competency, and quality is established and maintained.
Education & Experience
Master or above, majored in Physics, Optical Communications, Material Engineering, Semi-conductor, or equivalent.
Candidates having suitable professional experience with a BS degree will be considered.
More than 15 years’ work experience in high speed optics packaging field with product engineer role.
Wide experiences for critical FA cases for key projects in past.
- Ability to recommend and implement improvements.
- Good communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Good team player with hard working attitude.
- Must be self-motivated with capability working under pressure.
