Strategic Delivery Office Squad Member, Group Audit

The Maybank Group Audit (MGA) Strategic Delivery Office Squad supports MGA’s effort to uplift audit practices, enhance processes, strengthen digital adoption, and enable a more efficient and value-driven audit function.

The Strategic Delivery Office Squad Member is responsible to contribute hands-on support to executing strategic initiatives, implementing new ways of working, and driving continuous improvement across the audit community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking modernisation initiatives across MGA
• Support process redesign, digital enablement, and workforce uplift activities
• Engage with auditors to understand readiness, pain points, and support needs
• Deliver change activities including communications, training, and feedback loops
• Identify inefficiencies across audit units and recommend improvements
• Support rollout of agile practices and Maybank culture initiatives
• Encourage experimentation, idea-sharing, and localised problem‐solving
• Provide insights that inform long‐term modernisation strategies
• Use AI and digital tools to identify bottlenecks, spot automation opportunities, and enhance productivity

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, engineering, IT, or a related field
• Experience contributing to or executing process improvement and transformation projects
• Transformation management / Digital transformation experience (management consulting experience would be advantageous)
• Change management / AI deployment experience (management consulting experience would be advantageous)
• LEAN, PMP, PRINCE2, ICAgile, Prosci (preferred, not mandatory)
• 3–5 years in process improvement, change management, project management, AI adoption and deployment or operations uplift.
• Management consulting experience is a plus
• A friendly, collaborative approach — you’re comfortable working with auditors, tech folks, and senior stakeholders alike
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn findings into practical recommendations
• Adept at the usage of AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini etc to solve for problems and solutions development
